I am a Fashion Designer and Textile Workshop Facilitator based in Wembley. I run my namesake brand By Sapna, a brand designed to celebrate the experiences of the Diaspora through fashion and textile design. Uprooted in sustainability, all my pieces are made using second-hand or donated materials.
I also facilitate textile based workshops, allowing local communities and organisations learn creative skills such as embroidery, beadwork, upcycling and much more. My workshops offer a space where people can come and learn how to be creative freely, learn a wonderful skill, learn about the importance of sustainability within fashion, and also socialise with others.
Clients include The British Musuem. The V&A Musuem, Gunnersbury Park Musuem, Brent Council, Dominasian Magazine, Rebels and Pilgrims, and many more.
