The Council is starting planning for its annual flagship Black History Month event in October and we’re inviting people from Brent’s community to help shape it. It’s Black History Month… so we want vibrancy, music, art and celebration all at the centre! We will be setting up a planning group in June that will meet every 3-5 weeks to establish a plan and bring the event to life.
We are asking planning group members to volunteer their time. While we value your knowledge and expertise our budget needs to be focused on the celebration, paying our on-the-day contributors.
