Kinspiration is a community-led organisation empowering children, young people and families in Brent (and Barnet) – especially those from marginalised or underrepresented backgrounds and children with SEND. We strengthen community bonds by nurturing educational development and promoting mental wellbeing through creativity, connection and care.
Our weekly workshops use therapeutic arts, storytelling, music, sports and role-play to help children aged 4+ build confidence, resilience and a growth mindset. Led by an experienced assistant headteacher, social worker and family therapist – and supported by dedicated community volunteers, including community mummies and parents/facilitators with lived experience of neurodivergence and marginalisation – Kinspiration bridges education, wellbeing and community engagement.
We create inclusive spaces in schools, libraries and other community spaces, where every child can thrive, every voice is valued and every family feels supported. When creativity meets compassion, powerful change begins – one inspired child, one empowered family, one connected community at a time.
