Celebrate International Reggae Day 2026 at the iconic Reggae Tree in Harlesden, marking 32 years of this global celebration and 8 years of this important local cultural landmark. Led by Diane Shrouder-Johnson, Reggae Tree Ambassador, this free community event brings together music, heritage, community and environmental awareness under the theme “One Love, One Voice, One Day.”
Enjoy a full afternoon and evening programme, starting with the Roots Rock Reggae Walk from Roundwood Park, followed by “Voices Around the Reggae Tree” featuring live selectors and drummers. Music continues throughout the day with a vibrant Selectors Showcase and a special performance from Frenchie King.
The celebration also includes the Brent Reggae Album Covers Exhibition at the Library, exploring reggae’s lyrical and cultural impact. This family-friendly event offers a unique opportunity to connect, reflect and celebrate Brent’s rich reggae heritage in a spirit of peace, love and unity.
