Punchdrunk Enrichment has launched its latest series of interactive masterclasses.
Designed for artists, educators and creatives, the programme offers insight into Punchdrunk Enrichment’s approach to making immersive theatre for children and family audiences, sharing practical tools and creative methodologies drawn directly from current work.
The series includes two masterclasses:
Making Immersive Work for Young Audiences goes behind the scenes of Fireside Tales, using the production as a live case study. Participants will explore the creative decisions, narrative structures and immersive techniques used to empower young audiences as active participants in the story. This interactive session is ideal for theatre-makers and creatives interested in developing immersive work for children and families, and is available both online and in person.
Origin Stories is a playful, hands-on workshop focused on world-building and narrative creation. Through collaboration and Punchdrunk Enrichment’s signature world-building game, participants will develop rich immersive story worlds and leave with a practical toolbox of creative methods to apply to their own projects.
The masterclasses run between 10-12 February, are suitable for a range of experience levels, and are led by Steve McCourt, drawing on Punchdrunk Enrichment’s award-winning immersive practice.
