Emma Bailey is a Queer and Disabled, Performer and Creative. With over 10 years experience in the theatre and live performance industry. They have acquired a wide set of skills, working and training as an actor, singer, dancer, director, choreographer, aerialist, puppeteer, Intimacy director, writer, and theatre-maker. They have also worked as a props master, dresser, technician (lighting and sound), stage crew, SM, DSM, access host, access consultant, and a designer (Set and lighting). Embodying their personal experiences and stories is at the core of all that they do. They have worked twice with well renowned theatre company Punchdrunk International as well as international company TheatreRE. They have recently graduated from Rose Bruford College, with a first class honours degree in European Theatre Arts, following their training at ICTheatre Brighton (now merged with Performers college) and Eesti Muusika ja Teatriakedeemia. They are the founder of the collective D&Q Theatre. They enjoy working with the unknown, the messy and the uncomfortable, with their work being often political and always personal.
