We are a leading arts education charity that evolved from artist-led initiatives in the early 1970s. For 50 years we have been amongst the UK’s most progressive affordable studio and workspace providers.
With a portfolio of 14 studio buildings, exhibition spaces and workshops across nine London boroughs, three locations in Essex and an industrial heritage site in Stoke-on-Trent we support a community of over 400 creative practitioners and cultural organisations.
In our Barham Park Studios building, we host:
- Free Flourish creative holiday programme for families
- ACAVA Hosts: an annual artist residency programme
- 30 artists and creative practitioners in workspaces
Flourish is a free school holiday art programme for Brent families with primary school-aged children. It provides a welcoming space for families to be creative, play together, and learn new skills with professional artists, moving between our community studio and the beautiful green space of Barham Park.
The Barham Park Studios Residency is career development opportunity for an artist to be based within Barham Park Studios. The artist in residence receives £6,000 towards developing their creative practice, six-months of rent-free studio space, individual curatorial support, peer- to-peer networking, and funding for professional development activities.
